## Where is Magician JT's Science Lab held in Daejeon?

The Daejeon edition of Magician JT's science magic show was held at the Pyeongsong Youth Culture Center small theater. Tickets are 25,000 won for all seats, and if you search '마술사제이티' on Naver and go to shopping search, a booking window pops up!

Today I went to see the science magic show Magician JT's Science Lab! Last time at the National Science Museum, Huni-mini had so much fun watching the dinosaur-themed magic show, so I went to check out this science magic show for our Huni-mini too. Here's my full, live review!

For parking, you can park comfortably at either the Pyeongsong Training Center lot or the Nammun parking lot, whichever is more convenient.

## Ticket booth, photo zone and first-come seating at Pyeongsong Youth Culture Center

At the Science Lab ticket booth by the entrance to the Pyeongsong Youth Culture Center small theater, you can exchange your ticket and also buy magic supplies. Seats are first-come, first-served based on ticket pickup order, so you need to arrive early to sit up front!

Let's head into the small theater inside the Pyeongsong Training Center.

The Science Lab ticket booth and entrance area are decorated so nicely.

We snapped a photo at the photo zone set up in one corner before heading inside.

## Before the show: character quiz and Magician JT's entrance

When we walked in, they were running a character quiz before the show started, haha.

The quizzes were easy and fun, warming up the mood so the kids could focus.

With flashy lighting, lasers, and grand music, the magician makes his entrance.

At the start, he grabs the kids' attention with flower tricks, rope tricks, and more — even as an adult, I found it genuinely fun. The kids cheered at every flick of the magician's hand, haha, and Huni loved it too.

## Static-electricity levitation: how kids join Magician JT on stage

Popo, a friend helping Magician JT, appears, and from here it moves into science experiments. They use static electricity to make an aluminum plate levitate.

At this point the magician walks through the audience looking for a kid with a great expression, really drawing out the children's interest and response. I still remember how he carefully studied each kid's face, gesture by gesture!

One kid with a great expression got picked and actually got to experience levitation for real! Huni was amazed and said 'I want to try too~' haha. This kind of audience-participation show really keeps everyone more engaged, I think.

Not just the kids — moms and dads got to join in and have fun too.

Our Huni even used magic to create static electricity and pop a balloon! Haha, he was laughing his head off, having such a great time!

## Highlights: elephant toothpaste and liquid nitrogen clouds

After that, he demonstrated calculator-based magic, made 'elephant dung' with hydrogen peroxide, and even created clouds using the actual principle behind cloud formation — all sorts of science magic performed right in front of us.

![Pouring hot water into liquid nitrogen to create a cloud](https://img.superchart.com/images/science-magic-show-daejeon-pyeongsong/science-magic-show-daejeon-pyeongsong-17-1wyfl-900.webp)

This felt like the final highlight of the show — pouring hot water into liquid nitrogen at -190°C to create a cloud! The instant the hot water went in, smoke billowed up, and learning that this is actually how clouds form amazed even me as an adult.

At the end, kids had a blast rolling balls set up on either side, and a laser show closed things out, making it a thoroughly enjoyable show for the whole family, kids and adults alike. Since these exciting shows are touring all over the country, take your kids who love science and magic to see one too!
