Today, since my friends and I were out in Cheonan, we stopped by Steel Green Bakery, famous as a big Cheonan café and dessert spot.

## Parking at Steel Green Bakery: easy even for new drivers?

Steel Green Bakery has a large parking lot, so even new drivers can park comfortably. The exterior already gave off proper big-Cheonan-café energy, and I could park with zero stress before heading in.

Amenities: Group seating, takeout, reservations, wifi, separate men's/women's restrooms, high chairs, parking available

There's a fountain outside and photo zones scattered around, so it's also a great café for taking pictures.

Walking in, the space felt genuinely spacious with high ceilings, no stuffy feeling at all. One wall is a floor-to-ceiling window, so the sunlight pours in, and the interior overall was clean and pretty.

## The bread lineup and the 10,000 won day-old random bread set

True to a large bakery café, Steel Green Bakery had a huge variety of bread. It's also known for its salt bread (soft, buttery Korean-style bread), but since I'd eaten a big lunch, I picked something else today.

and pastries, pies, and cakes — the variety was wide enough that customers of every age were there.

They even had an oven and microwave for warming up bread — a nice, thoughtful touch.

In particular, the "day-old bread random set," with yesterday's bread bagged up at 50% off for ₩10,000, looked like really good value.

## Goods, free coffee grounds, and the tray elevator

On one side, they sell clean-looking Steel Green mugs and tumblers as merch. There's also a free coffee grounds giveaway corner and a small hands-on space where kids can build with Lego and display their creations.

And there's an elevator where you can set your order tray and ride up comfortably. This café really has thoughtful touches everywhere!

## What we ordered at Steel Green Bakery: einspänner, americano, egg tart, bagel fruit sando

That day we ordered a vanilla toffee nut einspänner, an iced americano, an egg tart, and a bagel fruit sando.

With such pretty natural light and a pretty interior, photos come out great no matter how you shoot them.

Set on a bright window seat, the colorful spread looked really pretty.

I ordered the bagel fruit sando and egg tart because they're both popular. I always make a point of trying the signature menu.

Just looking at them — the chewy-looking bagel and the egg tart with its layered pastry — the visuals were incredible, ugh.

### How the vanilla toffee nut einspänner and the coffee taste

The vanilla toffee nut einspänner is also a signature menu item at this Cheonan spot, so I ordered it right away — the visuals speak for themselves, with a generous mound of nutty cream on top and cute clover shapes sprinkled over it.

The nuttiness of the toffee nut combined with the sweetness of the vanilla, and the dense, smooth cream on top made it easy to sip. The coffee beans themselves were good in the iced americano too, and even the decaf (not cold brew) suited my taste. The beans had a slight acidity, which made me think they're using quality beans.

### How the bagel fruit sando (bagel with fruit and yogurt cream) tastes

The bagel fruit sando has tangerine, green grapes, and plenty of cream packed between chewy bagel halves. The cream wasn't a heavy whipped cream but a refreshing yogurt cream, so it didn't clash with the fruit — the combination was really clean. It went great with coffee too, and the bagel had a dense, super chewy texture!!!

### How the egg tart tastes

I loved the texture of the crisp, layered pastry on the outside. The custard filling inside was smooth and soft with no fishy taste, so it was really delicious.

## Floor by floor: the 2nd floor, 3rd floor and rooftop

Known for its views, Steel Green Bakery has a slightly different mood on each floor, which made it a fun Cheonan café to explore floor by floor.

The 2nd floor is a space full of green plants and bright lighting. The seats are comfortable and the mood is quiet — perfect for chatting away with friends.

The 3rd floor has spacious group seating and gathering tables laid out generously. It looked great for family get-togethers or groups of four or more.

Finally, the rooftop at the very top has an open-view rooftop garden and a "stairway to heaven" photo zone. It's a nice spot to take clean photos with the sky as your backdrop.

Thanks to that, I even walked away with one great photo of myself~! This was my review of a big bakery café in Seonggeo-eup — spacious, comfortable, easy parking, tasty desserts, and pretty photo zones all in one, a great big Cheonan bakery café to relax at on the weekend~!
