Supports made entirely of silicone felt stuffy because they could not absorb sweat. At first, the silicone pad and Velcro section arrived separately, so I was a little confused about how to connect them. I placed it with the U-shaped opening facing upward, positioned it to feel as though it supported just below my kneecap, and fastened the Velcro. Then I adjusted it for my leg size and desired level of compression. ## Did the Velcro stay secure for an hour of running? The Velcro was soft rather than scratchy, so I worried that it might come undone easily. But it did not come loose during about an hour of running. However, foreign matter such as dust can build up on the Velcro and weaken its grip. Previously, I would have knee pain the next day after a long hike or a long run. This time, the knee wearing the support felt as though it was under less strain than the one without it. That is the difference I personally noticed while exercising. What I liked most was the support of the U-shaped pad and the fact that it slipped down less while moving. It also felt easy to carry and wear.
