## The six appetizers served before the mains

Before the mains come out, 6 appetizers arrive first. Each one is neatly plated, looking upscale from the get-go, with every dish delicately arranged — I loved it.

First up was mung bean porridge topped with black sesame. The nutty black sesame aroma was mellow and delicious — even my 31-month-old ate it happily.

Next, a salad with whole grain mustard yuzu that hits your mouth with a burst of freshness. So sweet and tangy I kept reaching for more.

Then plump, chewy sliced mushroom (pyeonyuk-style). The truffle-scented seasoned chamnamul (wild chervil) was fragrant and upscale, really waking up the appetite.

Crispy fried mushrooms coated in a spicy-sweet sauce — mushroom gangjeong. Chewier the more you chew, and my husband kept saying it was so good.

Mellow smoked duck with a tangy, refreshing naengchae (cold salad) sauce as the kick-! Clean yet appetite-boosting, so I devoured the crunchy vegetables too.

Perilla oil cappellini that could pass for a main dish. The nutty perilla oil aroma was intense. The thin noodles were coated in perilla powder for amazing umami-! The sweet shrimp just melted away.

Fresh two-plus grade hanwoo (Korean beef) yukhoe (raw beef) combined with hanjae minari (water celery) and seasonal vegetables — this is the minari hanwoo yukhoe bibimbap. It comes with rice, doenjang (soybean paste) soup, and bibimbap sauce.

Add a generous bowl of rice, mix in the sauce thoroughly, and it's done-✨ The soft, savory hanwoo yukhoe combined with the distinct fragrance of minari is a combination that simply can't taste bad.

The freshness of the yukhoe gets a bright lift from the minari's fragrance. Plenty of seasonal vegetables add crunch and variety in every bite. Eating this bibimbap after the appetizers made it taste even better♥
