Three of us ordered the jjolmyeon set (chewy spicy noodles with tonkatsu and gimbap) for 13,000 won, the hot stone chicken mayo rice bowl for 9,000 won and the spicy anchovy gimbap for 6,000 won, and tried everything from tonkatsu made with Korean pork to gimbap studded with almonds. Takeout is available too, of course! It wasn't just kimchi and pickled radish — there was seasoned soybeans, cucumber kimchi, and even kimchi pancake!! There are tables for four and tables for two — about 2 tables for 4 and 6 tables for 2. Aprons are disposable, so feel free to grab one. Not long after ordering, all three dishes came out at the same time. Isn't this great value for the price? I couldn't get a photo of the origin label, but they use Korean pork. I'm picky about meat, and I could tell they were using good quality pork. I've had chicken mayo many times, but I think this was the first time I've seen it served in a hot stone bowl. It comes out sizzling in a piping hot earthenware pot. The sauce was poured on generously, and the friend I went with, who loves lots of sauce, was very satisfied ^^ Mixing it all up, it wasn't salty at all — sweet and savory in a really good way. There was a lot of egg garnish and plenty of chicken too!! Above all, the portion was seriously huge, so much that I wondered if we should've just ordered two menu items haha. Coming out in a hot stone pot somehow made the rice taste even better.. it was nice being able to eat it hot all the way through. The spice level was decently strong too, so it was perfect to eat a piece when you got a little tired of the tonkatsu and chicken mayo. I was happy to see a good gimbap restaurant open in the neighborhood *.* Even while we were eating in the store, customers kept coming in and delivery orders never stopped. Seems like it's already gotten a reputation as a top gimbap restaurant near Ujangsan Station. ## Is Uwol Gimbap worth a visit? A quality gimbap restaurant near Ujangsan Station. The owner is friendly, and the place is new and clean. Above all, the food is delicious.
