## In short

Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch is a Korean restaurant at the far end of the basement food court in Lotte Department Store, Gwangyo-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. The writer ordered the bossam (boiled pork with wraps) set for 22,000 won and the Andong gukbap (beef soup with rice) set for 20,000 won, then added tofu as a side, which arrived in nearly a full block. Hantiok is a department store restaurant where even a solo diner gets a full, generous bossam spread.

The pop-ups at Incheon Lotte Department Store lately are no joke — I feel like I have to go every week haha. Every time I go, I wonder what to eat. If that's you too, let me recommend a hearty Korean restaurant in Gwangyo-dong :)

![Full table setting of Hantiok's bossam set](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-01-c4byf-1200.webp)

Ta-da — just looking at it makes you feel full and satisfied. Wait... you can actually preview the menu in the showcase here, and I swear the real thing looked exactly like it jumped out of there;

## Where is Hantiok? A Korean restaurant near Incheon Terminal Station, in the Lotte Department Store basement

If you're looking for a restaurant near Incheon Terminal Station, it'd be a shame not to mention Lotte Department Store. Head to the basement food court and there's a wide variety of food available —

And today's recommendation from that spread? Hantiok, a restaurant in the basement food court of Incheon Lotte Department Store!

Actually, this place is well known in Daechi-dong, Seoul, but it turns out you can find it in the basement of the Lotte Department Store in Gwangyo-dong too. It's located at the end, with its own dedicated dining room right next to the store, and even if there's no seat there, you can eat at other seats too.

![Hantiok's storefront at the end of the food court](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-05-1tev2-900.webp)

Since it's in the Lotte Department Store food court, it's easy to get to, and since it's Korean food, it's comfortable for older family members too — so people of all ages and genders use this place a lot!

The noodles and gukbap (soup with rice) are made with 1++ and 1+ grade Korean beef only, so you can eat with more trust :) I thought it'd be perfect for a nourishing meal~

## Hantiok bossam set, 22,000 won: is it enough for one person?

What are the signature menu items at this Korean restaurant in Gwangyo-dong? There's a bossam set and Andong gukbap, both served as full table settings so you can enjoy a generous meal. You look at the models in the showcase and think, wait... it really does come out looking exactly like that? Haha

...This isn't a model, it's the real thing hahahahahahaha. It really comes out this generous! And it doesn't take long to come out either, so you get it quickly and can eat right away — but it was so generous and neatly plated that I was surprised when I got it 😝 I was genuinely surprised, and the owner laughed at me haha... (embarrassed)

Hantiok bossam set, ₩22,000. Bossam (boiled pork wraps), gukbap, tofu and mandu (dumplings), plus side dishes that go well together, all neatly arranged — and they even give you wrap vegetables, nice touch! 🥰

The strength of the bossam at Incheon Lotte Department Store is, without a doubt, its tenderness! Even just lifting it slightly with chopsticks, it felt like it would fall apart on its own.

Honestly, sometimes you want bossam but the price feels burdensome to buy, or it's hard to eat alone — but I liked that at Hantiok in Gwangyo-dong, you can enjoy a generous bossam meal even solo.

![Bossam set plated for a solo meal](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-11-1yci4-900.webp)

No gamey smell on the meat, clean taste, and the fat-to-lean ratio wasn't lopsided either, so I kept reaching for more without any hesitation~ I was impressed that the juices naturally came out when you chewed!

And it's not just bossam — soup comes with it too, the same soup as the Andong gukbap below, which made the meal even more satisfying :) Even though bossam is the main dish, the soup has really generous ingredients and plenty of broth, so it was satisfying haha

## Andong gukbap set, 20,000 won, with a tofu side added

Hantiok's Andong gukbap set, ₩20,000. I added tofu as a side here — wait, it came out at almost a full block's worth; hahahahahaha. This too was a generous portion.

![Full table setting of the Andong gukbap set with extra tofu](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-13-100do-900.webp)

The Andong gukbap, simmered with hanwoo (Korean beef), really has a deep, rich flavor as its main feature! The moment you take a spoonful, the broth from long-simmered meat gives you that proper restorative feeling — it's the kind of taste you'd want to carry around in a tumbler,, the kind you crave when you're feeling run down or when it's cold!

![A bowl of Andong gukbap packed with ingredients](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-14-589zc-900.webp)

Actually, Hantiok is famous for its Andong-style noodles and gukbap, so I trusted ordering the Andong gukbap, and I could really feel the depth of experience behind it. The ingredients, including the meat, were generous too!

![A spoonful of Andong gukbap broth and meat](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-15-14pu8-900.webp)

![Korean beef pieces in the Andong gukbap](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-16-1sb80-900.webp)

![Rice mixed into the Andong gukbap](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-17-4trfq-900.webp)

The broth wasn't harsh, with the savory flavor coming through, so it went down easily from the very first spoonful — deep flavor that quietly builds up rather than a sharp spiciness, the kind that keeps drawing your spoon back in :) I naturally ended up mixing rice into it (looking away in the distance..)

![Full table setting with side dishes](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-18-otpqo-900.webp)

![Wang mandu, tofu, and jeyuk bokkeum side dishes](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-19-y0sfu-900.webp)

## How were the side dishes at Hantiok: jeyuk bokkeum (stir-fried pork), wang mandu (big dumplings) and tofu?

For side dishes, there was wang mandu (large dumplings), tofu, and jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork) — this too was really generous!

![A plate of saucy jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork)](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-20-165pt-900.webp)

First, the jeyuk bokkeum had a rich, saucy seasoning — the strongest flavor among the basic dishes, but a good kind of strong, not a bad one! This is really a taste no one would dislike. Total rice thief, ugh.

![A large mandu dumpling packed with filling](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-21-1eu4m-900.webp)

The mandu were really packed full too! Tasty meat-mandu flavor that felt like eating at a specialty dumpling shop — I put it into the Andong gukbap and ate it like mandu-guk (dumpling soup), and wow was that delicious 🤩

![Mandu added to the Andong gukbap, eaten like mandu-guk](https://img.superchart.com/images/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu/hantiok-lotte-incheon-solo-bossam-tofu-22-ufekc-900.webp)

The tofu I ordered extra really had that handmade-tofu feel, filling just to eat :) I added it because I've been trying to get enough protein lately, and thanks to it I felt well fed haha. Warm and really nice~~

## Who should eat at Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch?

Eating the bossam and Andong gukbap together, the two best menu items at Hantiok, this Korean restaurant in Incheon Lotte Department Store, I could clearly feel its strengths~ Deep flavor without being harsh, and cooking that brings out the natural taste of the ingredients. I got the impression that the hand-cooked skill carried over from the original Daechi-dong location is being passed down well at this Guwol-dong restaurant too.

If you're looking for a good Korean restaurant near Gwangyo-dong or Guwol-dong, especially if you want to grab an easy, comfortable meal while touring the pop-ups at Incheon Lotte Department Store, I'd like to recommend Hantiok 💓
