## What are the terrace seats at Luna Vine like?

Luna Vine's terrace is a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine with the cool autumn breeze. The weather's gotten a lot cooler lately, and you can really feel fall arriving. The neighborhood is quiet and calm, so the terrace also seems nice for daytime drinking. One thing though — smoking is allowed there, so non-smokers might find the terrace a bit uncomfortable...!

## Indoor seating and what is on the food menu

Luna Vine also has a good variety of indoor seating. There are large tables great for wine meetups and private seats perfect for dates, so you can pick what fits your group size or mood.

The food menu is really diverse — everything from salads to pizza, pasta, chicken, steak, and fish dishes. There are also Korean dishes like ramyeon, tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes), and kimchi fried rice, so you can enjoy both Korean and Western food here. The steak in particular isn't too pricey, so ordering pasta and steak together to set the mood is a nice option haha.

## Luna Vine's wine list and the Cloud Bay Sauvignon Blanc we ordered

Luna Vine's wine list is huge. There's so much variety that I spent a while deciding. From reds to whites, sparkling, and champagne, there's a lot prepared, so you can pick according to your taste and the food you're having.

After much deliberation, here's the white wine we ordered. Since we wanted something to pair with a simple snack, we went with Cloud Bay Sauvignon Blanc. 1 bottle, ₩88,000. The wine glass they served it in was gorgeous too.

Cloud Bay is a leading New Zealand sauvignon blanc. It has a richly refreshing citrus aroma and a clean, crisp style. It's not very sweet but has a light, refreshing quality, so it's easy to drink casually and pairs well with seafood or light snacks.

## A light second round: melon prosciutto for 16,000 won

Melon prosciutto, ₩16,000. Apparently Luna Vine's steak and pasta dishes are especially popular, but since this was our second stop of the night, we were already somewhat full, so steak and pasta will have to wait for next time...! Instead, we ordered melon prosciutto, which goes great with wine.

The melon was perfectly ripened and melted in the mouth. Super soft, sweet melon paired with salty prosciutto made for the best sweet-and-salty combo. The pairing with our wine was so good that we were happy the entire time eating and drinking.

And the knife was seriously so sharp, I loved it... I'll be back to cut steak with this knife next time.

The wine was already delicious before chilling, but once chilled it got even more refreshing. The citrusy, crisp flavor got stronger too, so it went down easily and we finished the whole bottle before we knew it haha.

## Is Luna Vine worth a return trip to Nonhyeon-dong?

Luna Vine had such a wide wine selection and a calm atmosphere for enjoying wine that I was really satisfied. Above all, the owner's kind smile still stays with me haha. The owner was so friendly and the food was delicious — that's probably why they've been running this place for over 20 years, right? If you're looking for a good-atmosphere wine bar around Garosu-gil or Nonhyeon-dong, I recommend Luna Vine 🤍
