Thanks to the cozy interior, we got to enjoy our meal in a comfortable atmosphere. The seating was spaced out generously too, so it looked like a great spot for a date, a family meal, or even a group gathering. The longer it simmered, the deeper the seasoning soaked into the meat, and the spicy broth was seriously addictive. I have high cholesterol (TMI), so I'm supposed to hold back on fried food — but I kept reaching for more. The batter was completely crisp with the grease drained out of it, so it wasn't the least bit heavy, and even without any sauce the batter itself was seasoned well enough to be delicious on its own. It was already tasty plain, but this sauce is insane (a compliment) so I dipped a ton, haha. It's a mix of seasoned chicken sauce and mayonnaise — how did they even come up with this combination? Definitely also try dipping it into the dakdoritang broth... ## Final verdict on Yetnal Tongdak & Tang Seomyeon Branch This place was already famous in Yeonsan-dong, and a friend of mine had raved about it, so I went in with high expectations — and it exceeded them. Generous portions, excellent taste, and reasonable prices — this place nails all three, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a chicken or dakdoritang restaurant, or a bar, in Seomyeon.
