Today I visited MENJI, a Japanese ramen specialist in Hanam Misa. There were two tables for four and six counter seats. It seemed like an easy place for a solo meal, date, or family meal. They were so adorable that they kept catching my eye. Since I was dining alone, I sat at an empty counter seat. Bottled water, paper cups, and hair ties were set out. The noodles were cooked just right, and they were so good with the rich broth. A gentle kick of heat cut through any richness beautifully. It was loaded with charcoal-grilled chicken and pork neck. I could not believe the portion for ₩4,500. A spoonful of rice with chicken and wasabi made for such a delicious full biteㅜ Having some ramen and broth in between, too... an absolutely fantastic pairing.
