They make their own bakery menu in-house, and I was especially curious about the salted taiyaki, so I decided to check it out haha. We ordered the Filipino ube bingsu, salted taiyaki, and a couple of drinks, so here's the full review ~ ♥ ## Childish location and opening hours in Seongsu Childish is a café on the 2nd floor at 114 Yeonmujang-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The CHD logo is visible right from the entrance, so it wasn't hard to find at all haha. ## Inside the second-floor café at Childish The 2nd floor at Childish is bright overall, with sunlight pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Filipino ube bingsu at Childish is ₩20,900 — a purple-hued shaved ice topped with nuts and jelly, served with ube syrup on the side. Let me introduce this one first! The purple color alone is gorgeous, and with the toppings on top, the whole thing looked really pretty?! The ube syrup came out alongside the bingsu! I was curious about the bingsu's own flavor, but also about how much the syrup would change things haha. And this was the one I was most looking forward to! The outside looked crisp and the inside looked chewy, so I wanted to dig in right away ~ I took a bite and — wow... I immediately understood why it's Childish's signature item haha. Since there was extra ube syrup, I dipped the salted taiyaki right in..! Childish was a great spot to visit when you want something a bit special for dessert in Seongsu! The salted taiyaki I'd been looking forward to was really delicious — the crisp-yet-chewy texture with the butter on top kept my hand reaching for more haha.
