The restaurant requires one tteuranchae bapsang set per person plus at least one shared dish, so two diners ordered 2 sets and borigulbi (dried salted yellow croaker) and received 12 banchan along with cheonggukjang (rich soybean stew) and pot rice. Say 3 people show up!!? You're required to order 3 tteuranchae bapsang sets AND one dish! How do I even eat this? Wow!! 🥺 This combo is so good...🥹👍 The rice and mackerel just slid right down!! 🤤 ## Refills at Gim Myeongju: japchae on request, cheonggukjang too The cheonggukjang was really savory too ~ tasted like a good mix of doenjang and cheonggukjang!! Mixed rice into that too 👍 gave it an automatic thumbs-up!🤣 The side dishes were amazing too ~ the namul were really tasty, but the japchae (glass noodle stir-fry) and potatoes were exactly my taste !! 🥺 I refilled both of those.. My mom next to me loved the perilla leaf pickles and gochujang-pickled radish! The namul were mildly seasoned too, nice to eat in between 👍 Japchae isn't at the self-bar!!! If you ask the staff walking around the floor for japchae, they'll go scoop some fresh from the kitchen and bring it to you!! Felt like it'd been forever since I had such a proper hanjeongsik!! Made me think of my parents the second I took a bite 🥺..
