When I visited Jamsil Baseball Stadium last week, I stopped by the food trucks to pick up some snacks. Thanks to all the delicious food, my baseball stadium date—my first in a while—felt even more fun.

Although it was an LG vs. Samsung game day, there were lots of people in front of the Bingdongdaeng food truck, whether they were LG fans or Samsung fans.

At the second food truck I visited, I ordered cream shrimp.

For my third stop, I ordered a hot dog. The individual items ranged from ₩8,900 to ₩10,900 and were a good value, and they were also available as sets.

Now, finally, I headed inside the stadium with all the food I had ordered from the Jamsil Baseball Stadium food trucks. With so much delicious food in hand, I felt like I could comfortably get through the next four hours. The game started at five, so it was too early for dinner, but I was hungry after lunch and needed a little something—having the food trucks there was reassuring.

## How Was the Mango Bingsu?

After much deliberation among the many bingsu (shaved ice dessert) options, I ordered the sweet and tangy mango bingsu (₩15,500). The moment I received it, the generous presentation and big mango toppings immediately caught my eye.

With one big spoonful, the combination of finely shaved, icy snowflake ice and mango that melted softly in my mouth was simply fantastic.

Its refreshing coolness, instantly cutting through the heat of a stadium full of cheering under the blazing sun, was especially impressive. There was plenty of mango flesh too, so I could enjoy it fully without feeling shortchanged right through the last spoonful.

After spicy cheering foods like tteokbokki or sundae during a baseball game, this would be an absolutely perfect dessert for cleansing the palate.

## Baseball Stadium Foods We Had Together

The hot dog was impressive from its appearance alone. It was topped generously with savory mayonnaise sauce and salty bacon chips over the nicely browned hot dog, and it had my mouth watering before I even took a bite. The moment I took a big bite, the juicy, springy sausage made for such a fun texture. The smooth, nutty flavor of mayonnaise and the salty bacon came together beautifully for the classic sweet-and-salty combination.

After waiting in the long line, the cream shrimp arrived, and as soon as I opened the box, the nutty, tangy aroma of the special cream sauce tickled my nose.

The large, plump fried shrimp were generously covered in white cream sauce, so the presentation got a passing grade right away.

With a bite, the plump shrimp meat burst through the crisp coating with a wonderful texture. The cream sauce balanced the potentially rich fried flavor with sweetness and tang, so I could keep eating without getting tired of it.
