I heard there was an all-you-can-eat pork belly buffet near Gongneung Station open until the early hours, so I headed to Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch.

## Where is Eongteori near Gongneung Station? Packed even at 11pm

Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch is on the 2nd floor, so whether you take the stairs or the elevator, you'll see it right away. From the entrance, big letters announce unlimited meat and unlimited soju.

We came for a really late dinner, but I was surprised how many people were there. It was around 11pm to midnight, yet there were still plenty of locals and students.

## What we ordered: unlimited pork for two, soju and beer

At Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch, we only ordered the unlimited pork for 2 people, soju, and beer haha. You can also order ramyeon or naengmyeon (cold noodles) separately, but since ramyeon was already unlimited, I didn't bother ordering extra.

## Eongteori's self-serve bar: drink kiosk, ramyeon and fried rice corner

Once you're seated and head to the self-serve bar inside, it's huge and really well organized. You order drinks through a kiosk and grab them yourself, and there's a separate space for making ramyeon and fried rice.

### 8 pork cuts at Eongteori, changing daily

On one side there's the pork section with a total of 8 different cuts, and I heard the lineup changes every day.

When we went, they had chewy jjolgit daepae, oh-samgyeop daepae, kkot-samgyeop daepae, Iberico daepae, daepae samgyeopsal, kkot-mokssal daepae, frozen samgyeopsal, and golden duroc daepae! Looking around at other tables, most people were piling on the chewy daepae and frozen samgyeopsal.

### The best part: a full tray of wrap greens

And what satisfied me most was the sheer variety of wrap vegetables. Most Korean BBQ places don't give you this much variety, so I was surprised. Kale, perilla leaves, lettuce, mushrooms — I was so happy.

On another side there were bean sprouts, kimchi, potatoes, pickled radish (ssammu), rice cakes, fried items, and more side dishes to enjoy alongside.

There's also a wide range of sauces — scallion shreds, ssamjang (dipping sauce), an all-purpose meat sauce, salt, curry sauce, cumin salt (jjeran), and more.

## What 17,900 won per person gets you on the table

So here's the spread we picked out after much deliberation. As I filled my plate, I thought: at ₩17,900 per person for unlimited meat, ramyeon, fried rice, and all these basic side dishes, this would be so popular with students from nearby schools.

### First up: chewy daepae and oh-samgyeop daepae

We grilled a variety of pork cuts, starting with the two I'd been most looking forward to — the chewy daepae and oh-samgyeop daepae.

Eaten together with the wrap vegetables, mushrooms, and scallion shreds, it's truly delicious. With so many wrap vegetables to choose from, someone like me who loves lettuce wraps was in heaven haha.

### Frozen samgyeopsal with no off smell at all

Next we ate samgyeopsal and kkot-samgyeop daepae, and more. There were also onions, which we ate wrapped as well.

Of all the meats, I enjoyed the chewy daepae and samgyeopsal the most. I could see why so many other tables were loading up on samgyeopsal. Even though it's frozen, it wasn't overly thin and had absolutely no off smell — it was delicious.

And an irresistible somaek (soju-beer mix)~

## Neoguri ramyeon halfway through, fried rice to finish

Once we'd eaten so much meat it started to feel a bit heavy, we had a bowl of Neoguri ramyeon haha. As always, ramyeon eaten midway through Korean BBQ is amazing — it cuts through the richness perfectly.

We were so full I hesitated over whether to have the fried rice, but you really should. Make it with grilled kimchi and plenty of meat. It's so good.

Stuffing ourselves like this so late at night... we really ate so well and so full.

## Who should go to this Gongneung all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ?

People usually assume all-you-can-eat places aren't that great, but Eongteori Muhandae Pae had more variety of side dishes and better pork than plenty of regular Korean BBQ spots. Being able to enjoy this at such a low price is the biggest draw, and I think it'd be great for students who need to eat well, or for group dinners.

The inside of the restaurant is really spacious, so it seems like it can seat a lot of people — I'd say everyone should feel free to come check it out.
