One of the places I like to stop by whenever I'm heading to Sinnonhyeon is Bakerist Brown. The space is huge, which is great, but the biggest reason I keep coming back is honestly the bakery and desserts!

If you're looking for a bakery near Sinnonhyeon Station, this one's worth a visit — the moment you walk in, the sheer variety of bread on display is wild. Bread lovers will seriously be obsessed.

I didn't try the salt bread this time, but it's displayed together with all the other bakery items, so if you're looking for a Gangnam Station bakery where you can see lots of varieties at once, this is a solid pick.

## Bakerist Brown's dessert showcase and MD merchandise

But I think the desserts at Bakerist Brown deserve just as much attention as the bread. Walk over to the showcase and the whole vibe shifts. From cakes to madeleines, cream-topped pastries and sandwich cookies, the variety is genuinely impressive.

Oh, and they also sell MD merchandise here. The interior is clean, spacious, and honestly great for a date♡ I sat on the basement floor.

## Vanilla madeleine and the ₩7,800 salted cream coffee

What I had at Bakerist Brown this time was a vanilla madeleine, a salted cream coffee, and Gangnam Sand. The madeleine was slightly firm on the outside and moist inside, which paired really well with coffee. It's a simple dessert, but the buttery flavor keeps you reaching for another bite.

And the thing that really hit my taste this time was the salted cream coffee.

It's marked BEST on the menu, priced at ₩7,800. That's more than a regular latte, but honestly, it's seriously delicious.

It's made with Guérande fleur de sel, and it's not just a strongly salty cream coffee. The subtle saltiness that comes through the soft cream is genuinely luxurious and satisfying — a pleasant kind of salty.

The bitterness of the coffee underneath and the softness of the cream come together for a great sweet-salty balance. This is something I'd personally order again whenever I go to Bakerist Brown.

## Which of the 6 Gangnam Sand flavors stood out?

And then there was the Gangnam Sand I couldn't walk past. Cream Forest, Peanut Butter Wave, Black Grain, Golden Hour, London Fog, Lychee Ganache...

Trying them one by one was honestly a lot of fun. Each one has such a strong personality that if you asked me which one is best, I genuinely couldn't pick just one. Paired with coffee, it's perfection, ㅜㅜ. The cookie itself is thin and crisp with a nice buttery flavor, and as you can see in the photo, there's a decently thick layer of cream in the middle.

Each flavor has its own distinct character, which made picking through them really enjoyable — I especially remember the lychee ganache and black grain♡ The green tea one was also great. Lychee ganache had a rich chocolate flavor, and black grain had this charming, nutty black sesame cream.

There was a note saying it tastes better after being chilled in the fridge, and eating it cold made the cream between the crisp cookies feel softer and richer — really delicious. I'm buying some next time I visit a friend's house. Seriously high-quality cookies haha. My daughter loved them too, she ate them up so happily 😍😍

With all six flavors in one box and a pretty presentation, this would make a great Gangnam dessert gift. Compared to a standard cookie box, the mix of flavors makes it feel a lot more thoughtful as a gift.

## Bakerist Brown's four floors and seating atmosphere

Bakerist Brown is also quite spacious. Decorated with wood-tone furniture and vintage-style props, there's plenty to look at around every corner, and since it spans multiple floors, save it if you're looking for a café near Gangnam or Sinnonhyeon where you can sit comfortably for a while.

## Would I stop by Bakerist Brown again in Sinnonhyeon?

For me, this isn't just a bakery near Sinnonhyeon Station — the coffee, bread, and desserts are all consistently good, so it's a place I go to without fail whenever I'm in the area♡ If you love dessert especially, definitely check out the showcase.

This time the vanilla madeleine and salted cream coffee were great, but the Gangnam Sand really nailed it for me :) If you're looking for a Gangnam Station bakery or a Sinnonhyeon spot with a huge range of bread and desserts, I'd recommend Bakerist Brown.
