With wood floors, vintage furniture, and even a guitar and an old audio set placed around, it felt a bit like visiting a vacation cabin. Best of all, there are so many trees visible from inside. The chestnut trees get plenty of sunlight, and the chestnuts were hanging fat and plump. Starting with the basic, from the first bite the cheese flavor was way richer than I expected. Not light and fluffy — it was dense yet melted smoothly in the mouth, with the deep, distinct flavor of cheese really coming through, which paired perfectly with the iced americano!! Personally, the one that stuck with me more was the Earl Grey. Between the two, the Earl Grey Basque felt a bit more special! It kept that same rich base flavor, but the more you ate, a subtle tea aroma rose up, giving it a slightly more upscale feel than the basic. Since we always just get iced americanos at cafés, this kind of dessert that we could actually taste together really matters to us. If you like rich desserts, go for the basic Basque; if you want something a bit different, the Earl Grey.
