We had sashimi together with my boyfriend's friends at Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market, then watched the fireworks too. With that lovely view as our drinking snack, both of us drank quite a lot, hahaha. We were totally knocked out on Sunday.. haha. We'd originally planned to have lunch on Sunday and go to a café for salt bread, but my boyfriend was so completely passed out that he couldn't even get up.. lol. I couldn't possibly wake him, and since I needed hangover food too, I thought I should finally try Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, which is known for hangover soup in Ingye-dong! I'd kept thinking I should go, and it seemed like it would taste even better on this day, so I went for it! It's on the opposite side from Na Hye-seok Street, and just one block away from Ingye-dong's main street, so the access is excellent! It would be great for coming with a group at lunchtime, or for dining alone too. Another great thing about Jeju Eunhuine is the free extra bowl of rice! You get free rice when each person orders one menu item. It isn't on the menu board, but they recently started serving Jeju-style spear squid mulhoe (cold raw-fish soup). I really like mulhoe, but I'd never even heard of spear squid mulhoe before!! Each serving came separately packed with beef-bone broth, ingredients, glass noodles, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), and dadegi (seasoning paste). Takeout portions are often bigger than eating at a restaurant, but Jeju Eunhuine Suwon Ingye Branch had a truly surprising amount of ingredients. The red broth with the seasoning was tasty too, but my boyfriend and I preferred the white broth without it! My dad said the seasoned one was better! It really comes down to personal taste, so I think it would be good to take a sip first, then add the seasoning paste as you like, haha. It feels like it's been such a long time since I had gukbap (rice soup), and I was so happy to have such a satisfying bowl after so long.
