Gyodaepae is a fresh (unfrozen) thin-sliced pork belly restaurant just a 5-minute walk from Exit 9 of Gyodae Station. It was one of those days after work when I was craving meat like crazy, and I heard there was a thin-sliced pork belly spot near Gyodae Station that even had outdoor seating, so I headed straight there!! 💨💨 There were about two outdoor seating spots too, but they were already fully booked ㅠㅠㅠ Even before going in, the vibe of the place had me so excited. Since it's around the Gyodae/Seocho area, there were a lot of groups and company dinner parties too!! ## Inside Gyodaepae: tables and outdoor patio seats The inside of Gyodaepae has this kind of vibe!! And of course there's pepper on hand — can't skip that with thin-sliced pork belly~!! ## What to order at Gyodaepae: the set with one of everything At Gyodaepae we ordered the set that lets you try one of every menu item. I've had plenty of frozen pork belly but this was my first time with fresh (unfrozen) thin-sliced pork belly! I love tripe so much that I can never pass it up no matter how full I am.. The honeycomb tripe was super thick and came pre-seasoned with a salty base, which made it perfect as a finishing dish!!! Dip it in the soybean powder too and it's perfect!! ## Who should eat at Gyodaepae? If you're craving chilled (unfrozen) thin-sliced pork belly around Gyodae Station, I recommend Gyodaepae!!
