My husband's office happens to be in Cheongdam too, and I had business in Cheongdam-dong myself, so we stopped by Osa Cheongdam, a Cheongdam izakaya famous for its atmosphere. Osa Cheongdam has such an upscale vibe, it's genuinely great for a date. Coming out for a date somewhere this nice after a while, my love just kept welling up >_< Let me review Cheongdam's go-to izakaya, Osa Cheongdam, right now :) ## What the atmosphere is like at Osa Cheongdam, a Cheongdam dining izakaya Osa Cheongdam is a Cheongdam dining izakaya on the 2nd floor of 37 Seolleung-ro 152-gil. With its upscale atmosphere, coming to a place this nice after a while just makes love bloom haha. There are also rooms prepared on the other side :) The menu is super varied. Everything looked delicious, so honestly it was hard to choose. It's such a nice starter and appetizer, really whets your appetite. I usually just eat steak with salt, but at Osa Cheongdam I went with the doenjang (fermented soybean paste) sauce. The savory umami of that doenjang sauce is no joke. I didn't see any mosquitoes so I didn't bother spraying. So thoughtful — with the weather these days, having the ceiling open just makes it even better. Oh — so that's why grilled fish takes so long. Next time I want to come back for the Jeju golden threadfin bream. Osa Cheongdam, a Cheongdam favorite — I thought it was just about the atmosphere, but the food is incredibly delicious too. That's probably why it's getting talked about more as a Cheongdam restaurant than just a date spot. The openness from the retractable ceiling and that cool breeze on the terrace alone gave 100% satisfaction.
