My fiancé and I always make a point of getting sushi or raw fish once the weather turns cooler, and I thought — now's the time, haha. I searched around for a good Hongdae sushi restaurant for a while, and I came across one with sushi that has an extra-long tail. That got me way too curious, haha, so I went and checked it out! ## Where is Yu Iksang Sushi, and when is it open? Yu Iksang Sushi is at 101, 18-7 Wausan-ro 23-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, 335 meters from Hongik University Station Exit 9. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00-21:00, with last order at 20:00, and closed Mondays. And that little brush is for painting soy sauce onto the sushi — as you'll see later, the tails are so~o long that they thoughtfully give you a brush to apply the soy sauce with! It was a bit warm out, so cool soba was perfect!! On the way out after finishing our meal, I noticed these cute little notes stuck up on the wall, haha. Looks like past customers left them, and it gave the place a really charming touch, haha. The chef was so, so kind, the set was generously put together, the price was reasonable, and the taste was excellent! Such a great Hongdae sushi restaurant!
