I took Jageun Sketchbook on a 2-night, 3-day trip and found its school-day worries and memories of parents quietly resonant. Verdict: a small, comforting book with a surprisingly deep echo. ## An Instagram comic essay read through short writing and drawings I want to read books, but I do not have much time—and as my eyesight has worsened, reading has become quite tiring. These days, though, essay books are coming out as Instagram comics, so they are easy and pleasant to read. I am exactly the sort of person whose taste is hit right on target by a memo pad like this—I almost want to buy the book for the pad alone! Anyway, it was an essay that fit my needs perfectly. As I said before, I want to read books; I am greedy to take even one sentence away from a book for myself; I do not have much time; and my eyesight has worsened so I have to wear glasses.
