So I wondered whether going to a seaweed-soup specialty restaurant would really be different, but after this meal, my thoughts changed a little! Seaweed soup simmered for a long time with proper ingredients like flounder, scallops, mussels, beef, and dried pollock was definitely different from the soup we make at home. When you are out with two children, the food matters, but it is hard to visit a restaurant with inconvenient parking. This place was easy to come to by car, and the interior was spacious and clean, making it nice for a family meal. > A spacious, pleasant dining room The interior was bright and clean overall, with comfortable spacing between tables and plenty of room. There was japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), vegetable side dishes, salad, and seasoned grilled flounder. The flounder had soaked up its sweet-spicy seasoning nicely, so it was great with rice. Rather than a clear broth, it was really milky-looking and rich. It was savory and deep without any fishiness. You can really see how rich the broth is in the photos, and that same concentration came through when eating it!! Our children ate it much more happily than expected!! The seaweed was especially soft and the broth was not harsh, so it was easy to mix with rice for them. At the same time, the broth was deep enough not to feel bland for adults, so everyone from children to parents' generation could enjoy it together. It would suit people looking for Korean food in Gwacheon to visit with kids, or a place to eat with their parents! ## Kimchi jeon from the receipt-review reward > A receipt review and even kimchi jeon I wrote a receipt review and received kimchi jeon. It arrived nicely browned, slightly crisp on the outside and moist inside! Beef seaweed soup made at home is delicious, too, but seaweed soup filled with seafood and simmered thoroughly has a different depth. With seafood like flounder and scallops as well, even one bowl was quite satisfying. Visit on a day when you want warm, easy-on-the-stomach Korean food rather than something intense; when you need a meal to eat with the children; or when you want a relaxed meal with your parents. The parking is easy and the restaurant is spacious, so it is a nice spot for a family meal.
