I have visited quite a few places after searching for Gwangju hot stone jjajang, but it had been a while since I tasted such a rich flavor, with gentle wok smokiness and a thick sauce soaked right in. It had that classic hot stone jjajang feel. If you come to Cheomdan's Mayway and cannot decide what to eat, I would absolutely recommend starting with the two-person hot stone jjajang. The tart freshness of grapefruit went beautifully with the fried shrimp, giving it the feel of a special dish that is hard to find elsewhere.
