In short
Salmon Brothers is a salmon-focused sushi and Western restaurant in Gwangalli, Suyeong-gu, Busan, on the 2nd floor of the Emart24 building near Exit 3 of Gwangan Station. The writer visited Salmon Brothers for a weekend lunch on a 2nd anniversary date, ordered the giant salmon sushi (16,000 won for 6 pieces), salmon cheese roll (18,000 won) and aglio olio (15,000 won), and appreciated the individual table lamps, wide spacing between seats and thoughtful touches like a curling iron outside the restroom. Where is Salmon Brothers in Gwangalli?
Salmon Brothers Gwangalli is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gwangan Station toward Gwangalli Beach, on the 2nd floor of the Emart24 building just before the big intersection. Type the address into your map and you'll find it easily, but if you just wander along, I think you could easily walk past it.
There may be people who've never been, but I doubt there's anyone who's been only once. The revisit rate at this Gwangalli restaurant must be overwhelming!

What are the interior and seating like at Salmon Brothers?
There's a photo zone right at the entrance!! Soft mint walls, orange tiles and warm lighting make the whole place feel calm yet full of personality.

Cute props are placed all around, so it feels different from an ordinary salmon restaurant. The three people in the frame on the right must be the "brothers" of Salmon Brothers, right? (just a guess)

There's a long bar-style table and plenty of regular tables too. Isn't the place spacious? The gaps between tables are fairly wide, so it's good for a private blind date or a date. Worried about the next table overhearing on a blind date? No need to worry at Salmon Brothers ^,^
One side displays wine and all kinds of drinks, which was fun to browse. We came at lunchtime and had plans afterward, so we couldn't drink this time, sigh… Anyway, with wine, highballs, whisky and more, it's a place to have a drink in a nice mood.

A separate lamp at every table
Especially‼️ I loved that every table at Salmon Brothers has its own lamp. The light falls softly over the table, which is great for food photos and perfect for an evening date mood.

I actually came for our 2-year anniversary date, and the atmosphere was so good that I was really!!! happy even before the food arrived, haha. Overall it was a fine-dining style interior with the owner's taste shining through, such a good vibe.

They say it was also recognized in the 2026 Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation. Wow!

Salmon Brothers menu and what we ordered for two
The menu centers on salmon, with sushi, rolls, sashimi and Western dishes. Can't decide between sushi and Western food? Just head to Salmon Brothers Gwangan!!

- Giant salmon sushi ₩16,000
- Salmon cheese roll ₩18,000
- Aglio olio ₩15,000
Wow, what is this atmosphere..? What is this plating…!?? The visuals are violently (positive) good. Six big pieces of salmon sushi, a roll with salmon, aglio olio topped with plump shrimp, plus that amazing lighting. Just looking at it made me happy.
How big is the giant salmon sushi?
The giant salmon sushi at Salmon Brothers is clearly bigger than ordinary salmon sushi, so it caught my eye right away. Check out the photo where I compared it with a MagSafe card wallet.
Sauce and pickles came with it: a creamy sauce with onion, plus sour pickled chili, garlic and wasabi.
The salmon almost covers the rice, and when I actually ate it, it was nearly twice the size of regular salmon sushi and thick too. In your mouth the salmon fills it before the rice does, so you can fully enjoy the soft texture and flavor. Such presence,,
Eating it with the onion sauce was another combination. The soft sauce and onion go in together with the thick salmon and cut the richness, and the crunch plus the sauce's flavor made it feel different again.

Wasabi comes along too, so you can add a little to taste. They say "amount of wasabi = oiliness of the fish." Salmon is an oily fish, so personally I found it tasty even with quite a lot of wasabi.

How does the salmon cheese roll taste?
Oh, I wasn't sure whether to order the salmon cheese roll, but it hit my taste exactly.. It has a different charm from the salmon sushi. Between the salmon are vegetables, cherry tomatoes, cheese and a crunchy topping, so even one plate had many textures.

In particular, the soft, nutty cream-cheese-like flavor added to the salmon made it another combination from the salmon sushi.

The shrimp aglio olio that surprised us
And the aglio olio at Salmon Brothers was unexpectedly memorable!

The noodles are thicker than usual pasta, so the chew was great.

Above all, the smoky fire flavor from the plump~~~ shrimp was really impressive.

With the shrimp's fire flavor on an oil-based pasta, the taste goes in a clearly different direction when you alternate with the salmon dishes, so I never got tired of it.
What to know before visiting Salmon Brothers
CatchTable review event
Salmon Brothers is currently running a CatchTable review event. If you reserve through CatchTable, visit, finish your meal and leave a review, they give you a service item on your next visit.

Is delivery available?
Salmon Brothers Gwangan also does delivery. Enjoy the same taste on Baemin, Coupang Eats, Yogiyo and Ddangyo.

Curling iron and floss: thoughtful extras at Salmon Brothers
- Service bar: bottled water, warm water, wet wipes
- Counter: power banks, dental floss, hair ties, stain remover pens
- In front of the restroom: curling iron, comb, hairspray, oil-blotting paper, cotton swabs
If you're on an important date or anniversary, you can slip off to the restroom and fix your hair. Isn't that thoughtfulness legendary… The handled floss is great too.

Cute goods and the knuckle-flick game
They also sell cute goods that put gift shops to shame. The stickers are sold at the bargain price of one aegyo (cutesy act) or one wink ^^ hahahahahahaha

If you come with friends, how about a knuckle-flick game (ddakbam) to bet on the bill or drinks? My boyfriend scored 999 points hahahahahahaha
Why Salmon Brothers is a good Gwangalli anniversary date spot
Salmon Brothers Gwangan made us laugh from the moment we walked in, through the meal, to the very last moment of leaving. Highly recommended, I mean it!!
It was even more memorable because you can enjoy the atmosphere along with the food. Each table has its own lamp and the seats are spaced comfortably, so it was easy to talk, and next time I'll definitely come in the evening for wine. If you're looking for a blind date or date spot in Gwangalli, you really won't regret it ♥️
