It's near my office so my husband and I go there fairly often — it's clean and delicious. Last time we each added a set meal and it was way too much, so this time we only added one, haha. They also sell a separate kids' menu, which is nice. Diced radish kimchi, onion and chives are provided at the start, and you can grab anything extra from there. I like piling on lots of garlic and chives, so I went back for more. The added set meal arrives first, so you can nibble on it while waiting, and then the soup lands right on cue. There's genuinely zero gamey smell here. And it's so tender. I like eating sundae with garlic ssamjang (garlic dipping sauce). The smell is... a bit much, haha, but the garlic and onion are so good — though I do feel like the smell lingers inside me until the next day. My husband's spicy extra-tripe sundaeguk! It arrives boiling hot. Chives go in right away! He tasted the broth and said, wow, that's spicy. I ordered the plain version since my stomach was a bit upset. He diligently fished out all the bits, mixed in his rice, and finished the whole bowl. True to the name, it's loaded with tripe inside — seriously generous amount! And you know how tripe can sometimes get chewy? Not a chance here — none of that! It's really tender.
