This time we visited Yeongjin-gil 51, a charming private villa with the Gangneung sea right in front of it. Kids could run freely across a 200-pyeong natural lawn, and we soaked in a warm hinoki tub for some proper healing at this ocean-view pension. The 1st and 2nd floors are fully separate, so it's a great pick for anyone looking for a private house in Gangneung. Outside, there's a fire pit and BBQ grill set up for a moody fire-watching night. There are also plenty of nice-view cafés and good restaurants nearby, and Jumunjin Fish Market is a short drive away, so it was easy to bring back fresh sashimi to eat at the house. ## After the stay With the wide-open ocean view, the 200-pyeong yard, and a warm spa all in one place, the whole family came back having had proper rest.
