The interior Shabu20 Gwangju Cheomdan is spacious, pleasant and fully equipped with group seating, so I think it's great for anyone looking for a team lunch spot in Cheomdan. I was blown away by how bright and roomy the place is the moment I walked in. We went around 12:00 and it was really, really crowded even then. At Shabu20 Gwangju Cheomdan, meat comes with the course, and if you need more you can grab it from the self-bar. Besides extra vegetables and meat, there are lots of side dishes like chicken gangjeong (crispy sweet-and-spicy fried chicken) and LA galbi (marinated short ribs), which I really loved. Even handing you dessert after the meal... that's such a thoughtful touch, isn't it amazing? >_< ## Half-and-half broth shabu-shabu: how did it taste? Doesn't it look amazing?.. haha. They say you fight heat with heat in summer, and it was lovely to enjoy hot shabu-shabu in such a cool restaurant. I was even happier with the wide variety of add-ins at the self-bar! This is the coffee I grabbed to drink with my shabu-shabu. The iced americano was clean and so delicious, Shabu20! ### Shabu20 is a chicken gangjeong hotspot too While the shabu-shabu was boiling, I snacked on what I'd brought from the self-bar, and Shabu20 turns out to be a great place for chicken gangjeong too?! There's spicy and soy-garlic chicken gangjeong, and both were so good.. ㅠ_ㅠ ♥ ### Glass noodles refilled 2 more times My beloved bunmoja (chewy starch noodles) were once again pure heaven! So chewy and bouncy and delicious that I refilled them 2 more times... Shabu20 reminded me just how good bunmoja can be. ### Rice paper rolls, chili sauce and the famous peanut sauce I really love making wolnamssam (Vietnamese-style rice paper rolls), so I made a ton and wrapped them up! Dipped in regular chili sauce or spicy chili sauce, it was honestly bliss... (Shabu20 is also said to be famous for its tasty peanut sauce, so if you love peanut sauce, run there!) The broth is so good that I think whatever add-ins you put in will taste great. ## Dessert, service and will I go back? At Shabu20 Gwangju Cheomdan, finish by grabbing ice cream and coffee for dessert! The staff were quick to respond and kind throughout the meal, which made the visit even more memorable.
