I finally came in for a root touch-up after two and a half months. I kept putting it off and putting it off — coloring so often was wrecking my scalp, and honestly I was just too busy to even get to a salon.

Coming in after two and a half months, I felt a little sheepish, haha. My hair condition was rough — honestly everything from ear-level down was pretty much toast, so I probably should've been getting treatments constantly or just cutting it off, but as someone committed to long hair, I have to hold the line.

## Gray root consultation: one tone up, from level 4 to level 5

Director Seyeon took one look at my hair and went, hmm... and said right away, "Looks like it's been over two months." Nailed it. My crown area was basically a mountain of white hair, ugh.

The back was really tangled too, and honestly nothing stresses me out more than gray hairs popping up. My previous color was around level 4, on the darker side, so this time I decided to go up about one tone to level 5 for the gray coverage.
