When you are out with kids, easy parking is the best, haha. We added the rice to mix up for the baby, and to give away the ending, it was a very good choice, haha. The chicken noodle soup broth and rice were such a great combination for feeding a child. At a kalguksu place, the kimchi really matters, right? I also loved that spicy and non-spicy kimchi were set out separately, so you could choose according to your taste. It is a setup that works for everyone, from people who cannot handle spice to those who love spicy kimchi 👍 ## Starting with generously filled galbi dumplings! The galbi dumplings came out first. There was truly plenty of chicken in the kalguksu, so every bite with the noodles had a satisfying chew. With steaming-hot broth and generous chicken, it was perfect for a chilly day like these. When your child eats well, the meal out is already a success 😂 The adults ate the kalguksu with kimchi, while the baby had rice mixed into warm broth, so it was nice that the whole family could comfortably share one menu. Choosing a menu when dining out with kids can be trickier than you think, but chicken kalguksu has few strong likes or dislikes, and you can use the warm broth with rice too, so I highly recommend it for a weekend family meal! Hanyang Dak Kalguksu was satisfying: parking was easy, the restaurant was clean, the food was generous, and most importantly, even the baby ate well. If you are looking for a Garak-dong restaurant on a day you are craving hot broth, I recommend Hanyang Dak Kalguksu 😊 It is also a good place for a comfortable family meal near Police Hospital Station. I think we will come back when we crave warm kalguksu again. Try the chicken-filled noodle soup with the galbi dumplings too.
