This weekend I visited Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch in Jongno. It is inside the complex building that houses the CGV, so you can do shopping, a movie and a meal all in one place. Since it was raining, I didn't even have to go anywhere and got it all done in one go. This Jongno Korean BBQ spot grills everything for you, has lots of sauces, and the meat is delicious. ## Where is Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch and how do you park? Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch is on the ground floor of the Picadilly CGV theater building in Jongno, Seoul. It sits right in the heart of Jongno 3-ga, where three subway lines meet, so public transport access is great 👍 It is a 1-minute walk (30–50 m) from Jongno 3-ga Station on Lines 1 and 3, and 3 minutes (250 m) from Line 5, so close you could trip and land at the door. You can park at the CGV building, but there is no separate parking support. Instead, there is a very large Jongmyo Public Parking Lot nearby. Whenever I come to Jongno 3-ga, I park there too. It is a 4–5 minute walk to Cham Dwaejitgan, so think of it as a little walk to digest after the meal. - CGV Picadilly parking lot: ₩7,200 per hour - Jongmyo Public Parking Lot: ₩4,800 per hour Head to the far left end of the Picadilly CGV building as you face the main entrance and you will spot the main branch. Inside, the restaurant was much bigger and cleaner than I expected. There was none of that thick BBQ-joint smoke and no slippery floor, so my first impression was very good. The roomy interior is also perfect for a company dinner or a group gathering. Looking at the walls, lots of celebrities have visited. There are broadcasting stations nearby, so a wide mix of people seems to come. Cham Dwaejitgan has everything! Be sure to grab a candy on your way out. If you eat a lot of garlic and just walk out, your girlfriend will scold you. On one wall there is a showcase where you can see the meat aging!
