## In short

Menya Seoul is a ramen restaurant in the Yongsan I'Park Mall food court in Seoul. I enjoyed the pork belly mazesoba with plenty of lemon kelp vinegar, plus the spicy ramen's jambon and karaage. Verdict: a speedy, satisfying solo meal before or after shopping or a movie.

Yongsan I'Park Mall ramen—Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch (멘야서울 용산아이파크몰점) in the food court.

There are lots of great places to eat at I'Park Mall, but when I want something simple or a good spot for a solo meal, I usually head to the food court.

A dedicated ramen spot at Yongsan I'Park Mall is surprisingly hard to find, so I’ve been stopping by Menya Seoul now and then since it opened in the food court. This time I tried the mazesoba, which wasn’t available on my last visit, and I’ll give you my honest review.

## Yongsan I'Park Mall food court location

If you want to get up to the Yongsan I'Park Mall food court quickly, it’s easier to take the escalator to the seventh floor from Living Park rather than from the Fashion Park side, where CGV is located.

Once I reached the seventh floor, Menya Seoul was right near the escalator, so it wasn’t hard to find.

![Bar-style seating at Menya Seoul](https://img.superchart.com/images/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba-06-gdscz-966.webp)

There are bar-style seats in front of the shop, like at a Japanese ramen restaurant, making it perfect for eating alone. Even if you don’t sit at the counter, there are shared tables throughout, so just take whichever seat feels comfortable.

## Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch menu

The ramen comes in mild, spicy, and mala flavors, so you can choose according to your taste. The menu is also divided up by topping type and amount, so there are plenty of choices for everyone from someone wanting a simple bowl to a big eater.

They also have king prawn cold ramen and mazesoba. Personally, I really hope the mazesoba stays on the menu instead of being just seasonal..🫶

## Spicy ramen and pork belly mazesoba

### What I ordered

My food came out quickly without much waiting after I ordered 🌀 It’s a good option when you need to eat fast while shopping or on a lunch break, too.

The pork belly mazesoba was more generous than I expected, even without extra toppings, which I loved. The noodles were loaded with meat and a thick house sauce, with an egg yolk right in the middle.

The table has rayu (Japanese chili oil) and lemon kelp vinegar ready for you to add as you like.

Since it’s packed with meat, it can start to feel rich as you keep eating, so adding a fairly generous amount of the lemon kelp vinegar was much more my style..!🍋

It adds a little tang and umami, cutting right through the richness of the thick sauce and leaving a clean finish, so I just kept eating 😋

There were also whole, thinly sliced pieces of pork belly that were easy to eat—so tender they practically melted away. They were a perfect match with the spicy mazesoba.

![Set side dish and drink](https://img.superchart.com/images/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba-15-1f1hl-966.webp)

If you order a set, it comes with a side and a drink, and you can choose dumplings or karaage (Japanese fried chicken). I had tried the dumplings last time, so I chose the karaage this time—and personally, I’d recommend the karaage 🙊

![Freshly fried karaage side dish](https://img.superchart.com/images/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba-16-1v1j0-966.webp)

The dumplings were delicious too, but the karaage came out freshly fried and crisp, while the inside was juicy, moist, and tender. It was just right with the spicy mazesoba.

![Spicy ramen topped with jambon](https://img.superchart.com/images/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba-17-ybitm-966.webp)

I also ordered the spicy ramen, and unusually, it came topped with thinly sliced jambon rather than the usual chashu.

![Jambon ramen with the ham dipped in broth](https://img.superchart.com/images/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba/yongsan-ipark-mall-maze-soba-18-1rjvd-966.webp)

I thought jambon only went with bread, but after dipping it lightly in the broth, its moist, tender texture was so nice, and it blended naturally with the ramen broth 😋

The noodles weren’t soft or overcooked—they still had that pleasantly springy bite while soaking up the broth.

Even though it’s called spicy, it wasn’t overwhelmingly hot. Once I added all the rayu, it became nicely fiery, with a much richer aroma and flavor—so good.

When you’re spending time at Yongsan I'Park Mall, there are moments when a full meal feels like too much but snacks alone aren’t enough. Menya Seoul serves food quickly, and you can sit wherever feels comfortable even when you’re alone, so it was a great place for a simple solo meal in the Yongsan I'Park Mall food court. If you’re looking for good ramen at Yongsan I'Park Mall before or after a movie, I recommend Menya Seoul ⭐️
