Burgers are my absolute favorite food... I saw on Instagram that this place came second in the Korea Burger Championship, saved it for a someday visit, and finally went. Drumroll, my expectations were high!

## Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch: location and seating near Gyodae Station

There seemed to be several branches, but the one I visited was the Seocho Gyodae Branch! It is about 300 m from Exit 9 of Gyodae Station.

Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch had a variety of seating inside. There were counter seats like these, too.

There were tables for two to four people as well. The yellow tables were so bright and cute—they went perfectly with burgers.

There was also a group curtain room farther inside. It fits around five to eight people, and apparently as many as 10?? You can reserve this table in advance through Naver!

For reference, the restroom is not inside the restaurant; you can use the building restroom after entering the password.

First off, there was a great variety of burgers, plus plenty of sides such as sandwiches, fried eggplant, and fries.

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger at ₩12,900, the classic burger at ₩11,900 plus a ₩900 pretzel-bun swap, the new patty melt at ₩12,900, and Sprite Zero!

In Daily Fix review photos, I kept seeing these unusual mushroom-shaped(?) buns, and those were the pretzel buns! I switched just one to a pretzel bun because I wanted to compare. The 18 Fries are apparently fries cut to 18 mm thick. Since I was eating three burgers, I passed on fries.

The patty melt was marked as a new menu item, so I had to try it. It was kind of like a burger sandwich with a 150 g Korean beef patty, two slices of cheese, and caramelized onions?? Just reading that sounded delicious... There was an option to have it cut in half, so I picked it.

## How the three burgers tasted

The burgers came out faster than I expected. Even better, all three arrived at the same time.

On the far left is the new patty melt at ₩12,900; at the top is the bacon cheeseburger at ₩12,900; and at the bottom is the classic burger at ₩11,900 with the pretzel-bun swap.

### Patty melt with cheese and onions

I was deciding what to eat first, but the patty melt had two slices of cheese and caramelized onions, so I figured I should eat it while it was piping hot. It got picked first.

This was my first burger sandwich(?), and maybe because it had such a thick Korean beef patty inside, it really tasted like a burger.. A fascinating and delicious sandwich. The onion-and-patty combination was great, and with two slices of cheese, the cheese had a clear presence while still fitting in well. This would make such a filling lunch.. The bread came lightly toasted, too.

### Classic burger switched to a pretzel bun

Next up was the classic burger with the pretzel bun. The look alone is way too cute..

I will diligently cut it in half.

This one also had a 150 g Korean beef patty, tomato, onion, and cheese.

Maybe because it had raw onion and lettuce, this classic burger felt really fresh. I could see why it was called a classic burger. But the sauce, patty, and vegetables were all balanced together just right. It made my top three burgers I have eaten lately.. I want to go back just for this!!! I did not notice it much when I ate this first, but after the regular bun next, the contrast was huge. Pay the extra ₩900 and switch to the pretzel bun.

### Bacon cheeseburger with house-made bacon

Next was the bacon cheeseburger at ₩12,900. Apparently singer Kang Min-kyung from Davichi raved about this one(?) It was a best menu item, so I ordered it.

Inside were onion, patty, cheese, and bacon. I think people who do not like vegetables would enjoy it. And perhaps because the bacon is made in-house, it tasted less artificial. I am not really into ketchup-based sauces, but somehow this was delicious...

## Daily Fix burger final thoughts

I am on a mission to try all the great burger places.. I had been curious as Daily Fix opened many chain locations, and it did not disappoint. All three were tasty, but my personal ranking was classic burger > patty melt > bacon cheeseburger. I am jealous of the office workers who have lunch near here,,,, I want to have a Daily Fix burger for lunch too,,, Next time, I need to go back for the pastrami sandwich and fried eggplant.
