- Grosperrin (Iseonggye, Hyulem, Christmas, Vintage lines, G ₩35,000–140,000)
- Paul Giraud, Hennessy X.O, Remy Martin X.O, Camus and other premium lines by the glass

There are seasonal liquors too, so it's worth asking. We ordered Jiranjigyo and Samyangchun by the glass. For food, we got the gochujang butter seafood,

![Glasses of Jiranjigyo and Samyangchun](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-14-1d78u-1200.webp)

Cheers. After a brief explanation of Jiranjigyo and Samyangchun, we were handed our glasses.

Three kinds of namul (seasoned vegetables) came out as an appetizer. I've been to plenty of fusion Korean bars, but serving namul was a fresh and tasty touch, haha. It goes surprisingly well with makgeolli. Then the main dishes arrived. What I liked most was that they briefly explained what each dish was made with before serving it.

## Gochujang butter seafood stir-fry (₩25,000)

The gochujang (fermented chili paste) butter seafood stir-fry is made with the restaurant's own special gochujang butter, stir-fried with fresh seafood. I'd honestly never thought about pairing gochujang with butter, but it works surprisingly well — the rich, nutty flavor of the butter softens gochujang's signature heat. I hope 'spicy but rich' becomes the next trend, not just 'sweet and salty'!!

![Gochujang butter seafood stir-fry with shrimp and octopus](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-16-qzyvj-900.webp)

The spice level of the gochujang here is roughly Shin Ramyun-level. It's loaded with shrimp, along with octopus, broccoli, onion, and cheese. This is my top recommendation — I personally think it also fits the fusion Korean identity of the place best.

![Close-up of the gochujang butter seafood stir-fry](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-17-11r0h-900.webp)

## Doenjang ragu pasta (₩18,000)

See all that fluffy cheese piled on top? The doenjang (fermented soybean paste) ragu pasta uses capellini, a much thinner noodle than usual. Because the noodles are so thin, the heavy, rich meat ragu base and the earthy doenjang sauce cling to every strand.

![Doenjang ragu pasta topped with fluffy cheese](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-18-1mfi7-900.webp)

![Cross-section of the doenjang ragu pasta with capellini noodles](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-19-1q7eq-900.webp)

I was curious how a Western-style ragu base would taste combined with doenjang's earthy umami, but it blended in seamlessly — pretty surprising!! And since the gochujang butter seafood is spicy while the doenjang ragu pasta is mild, they paired even better together.

![Table with the spicy seafood stir-fry and mild pasta side by side](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-20-1i06j-900.webp)

## Perilla oil ice cream (₩6,000)

Drizzling olive oil over vanilla ice cream has been trendy lately, right? Moss's Korean take drizzles nutty perilla oil generously over soft vanilla ice cream, with crunchy puffed rice adding texture.

![Perilla oil ice cream topped with puffed rice](https://img.superchart.com/images/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood/euljiro-moss-gochujang-butter-seafood-21-1nrz2-900.webp)

Sweet, salty, and nutty all come together for the perfect K-dessert, a refreshing way to end the meal. Of course dessert is the perfect finisher! Haha. It was a day my taste buds truly got spoiled.

## Final thoughts: who is this for

I'd highly recommend this to anyone in the Euljiro area looking for a stylish interior paired with distinctive fusion Korean bar food. With unique dishes and a wide range of traditional liquors by the glass, it's ideal for a date or a small get-together!
