After a trip to Japan I was craving tonkotsu ramen, so I did a ton of searching to find a place that tasted as close to the real thing as possible and was also convenient to meet a friend. Every time I eat ramen I think I want a whole plate of just that... I can't be the only one, right? Haha. It's not too spicy either, which I love. The broth changes a lot depending on whether you add garlic or not, so make sure to try at least a little. Taste the plain broth first, then add garlic and compare! I sprinkled on some pepper too! Maybe it tasted even better because we ate it after dropping the kids off at school! My friend and I said we should bring the kids next time. There are 5 of us total, so we joked that we'd probably fill up most of the seats if we all came. The noodles were great, the broth was even better... I almost finished the whole bowl, haha. It reminded me a bit of Ichiran ramen. When I mentioned that to my friend, she said she felt the same way!
