We wanted a quiet place to chat and recharge with something sweet, so we headed to the large Gangnam Station café, Selected Nicks (셀렉티드닉스). It is open from 8:00 AM until midnight on weekdays, and from 11:00 AM until 11:30 PM on weekends, making it a nice place to linger late into the day. There is a mechanical parking lot by the rear entrance behind the building. With spacious tables and plenty of outlets, this large café near Gangnam Station had just the right atmosphere for quietly working on assignments or laptop tasks. The mascarpone cream was wonderfully soft yet pleasantly chewy, and the combination of the moist cake layers and savory nuts was excellent. The iced Americanos we had alongside it were not overly acidic, with a clean, nutty flavor that stood out. A bite of rich, sweet tiramisu followed by a sip of cold coffee refreshed my palate so nicely. With its spacious, comfortable seating and a different atmosphere on every floor, this large café near Gangnam Station was very satisfying. If you are looking for a place to focus on assignments alongside delicious dessert, Selected Nicks is well worth a visit.
