There are also half-and-half options that let you have fresh duck with either marinated duck or bulgogi, which is perfect for sharing! From incredibly fresh ssam vegetables (wrap greens) to pickled radish wraps, seasoned vegetables, and pickled Cheongyang peppers, there was so much! Those pickled Cheongyang peppers in particular were the perfect match for the duck, and we enjoyed them so much. Grill Duck has two separate grills for cooking the two dishes, so we started with the marinated duck! It also came with loads of vegetables, making it perfect to eat together. We were seriously hungry, and just looking at the color of that marinated duck made it look irresistible. Dinner was properly sorted today! A cold beer alongside it would have melted away the day's fatigue, but I could not have one, which was a little disappointing. Even though it was half a portion, they gave us a huge amount. It came with thinly sliced potatoes and rice cakes too, and they are seriously delicious grilled! I had never tried grilling duck at home because I thought it might have a gamey smell, but the duck at Grill Duck was wonderfully tender and chewy without any off smell at all! It was delicious enough with just a little dip of salt. The meat was so tender and springy, and every side dish was delicious, so we just kept eating without realizing it! I do not even know how many bowls of rice we had here—we enjoyed the meat, rice, and duck soup so neatly and deliciously.
