They were grilling our atka mackerel and assorted skewers right there 🩷 Being at the dat-tsuke counter meant we got to watch it happen in real time, which was part of the fun. Hahahahaha, just look at the size of that grilled atka mackerel.. an overwhelming sight. We didn't even line our hands up next to it for scale, and it's still shockingly huge. I gently flaked off the nicely browned fish with my chopsticks, and it was still steaming, with a moist texture and flesh that came apart softly.
