My boyfriend said this place gets so popular the wait can be brutal! First up, Sunjo 1800 is basically mul-naengmyeon. The broth is clean but savory, the kind of broth you keep scooping up spoon after spoon haha. It wasn't punchy or intense — more about the subtle depth of the broth itself. And the thing I really didn't expect — the ujeon hanwoo yukjeon (Korean beef pan-fried beef). At ₩25,000 I thought it might be a bit pricey for a side dish at a naengmyeon restaurant, but the portion was seriously huge, I was shocked... can you see the size?? Haha.
