There's an underground lot right next to the restaurant and a second lot too. We arrived and were shocked at how big the place was. Right at the entrance it proudly says handmade noodles. They also do full venue rentals ✨ For rental inquiries, call the restaurant! We put our name in around 12:30pm on Saturday via the Tabling app and checked in as soon as we arrived at the restaurant! We were number 4, and it took about 20 minutes total to get seated. ## Private rooms vs. group seating — good for what kind of gathering? Walk in and everything on the right is private rooms. There's everything from 4-seat rooms to 6-seat group rooms up to a 14-seat room. With soft lighting on top, the atmosphere felt quite upscale. I visited on a weekend for lunch, and the main hall was full of guests too. The meat portion was generous, and since it seems to be stir-fried right after ordering, there was barely any liquid. Plenty of ingredients, rich sauce flavor — so good. Do they use lard? The fried rice itself was well seasoned, so it was delicious even on its own. Add the springy shrimp on top and it's total paradise. You won't get tired of it and can finish the whole bowl. ## Who should visit Dongbaek, a Gimhae Chinese favorite? > I recommend Dongbaek, a Gimhae Chinese food favorite! I've felt lately that Chinese restaurants have been leveling down across the board, but Dongbaek was truly satisfying 🤤 If you especially love Chinese food with real smoky wok flavor, you'll be even more satisfied!
