I’m going to write about my humble Friday night from the other day. After work, Oppa and I ended up having a spontaneous meetup for the first time in ages.. I was in Gangnam, Oppa was in Sadang!! They said it would take an hour by car from Sadang to Gangnam at 6, so O.K. Impatient me went to Sadang instead! Off to Sadang on the subway~ On the way, we decided to have gopchang (grilled beef intestines), a once-a-year sort of event for me!! Waiting = popular-restaurant vibes? Should we put our name down once?? The weather was nice, so we put our name down and decided to take a lap. And then...... after that long, long wait, we were finally in!! Sesame oil and salt dip~ This is a real treat. You’ve got to start with cheonyeop as an appetizer. Nom nom! It was fresh and not at all gamey! Then came the fish cake soup. This alone calls for a whole bottle of soju~ right? And here’s the alcohol we can’t leave out~ Oppa was driving, so he couldn’t drink; he could only clink glasses... My Friday night with beer and gopchang for the first time in ages~ It was delicious. I think I’ll remember it when I come to Sadang.
