Ten kinds of shellfish on one griddle The small clam hot pot came out filling the griddle pan with clams, scallops, fan mussels, hard clams, mussels, abalone, shrimp, crab, octopus, and oysters. Wow............ this is seriously great value! A truly generous spread of clams filling the whole pan, served cold at first, but the portion was hearty. Once the broth was poured in and started bubbling, they told us it was ready to eat. Wonhadeon Bada's clam hot pot broth was on the spicy side for eating with a child. Since we were eating with a baby, I'd take the meat out of the shells and set it on a fan mussel shell with a little broth pooled in it so she could eat it right away, but after eating for a while my little one said "spicy!" Still, we rinsed it in water and kept eating together, yum yum yum. By the time we finished the clams, the oysters, shrimp, and crab were all cooked, and the abalone and fan mussel were nearly done too! So we cracked open the shells right away and dug in, yum yum yum. She also finished almost the whole octopus by herself!! Wow. And she said the abalone tasted like squid... and cleared it in no time, hahaha. A true mukbang goddess. I took care of the fan mussels along with the cheese fondue and cleared it all. ## Second round with dumplings and udon, plus two buckets of shells Once the broth had reduced down, we added more stock, let it bubble away, and threw in dumplings, fish cake, mandu, and udon noodles!! Once the udon noodles were cooked, round two began! As we ate, the clam shells filled up two whole buckets. Grilled clams have you cooking right at the flame, which can be a bit much to manage with a young child, but with the clam hot pot you get to eat plenty of soft clams, it's gentle for a kid since it's a broth dish, and adults can still fully enjoy the clean, natural clam flavor — I loved it!
