## T Coffee: a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station, off the noisy main street

T Coffee is a basement café on Achasan-ro, maybe 5 minutes from Seongsu Station. A healing spot away from the noisy main street — we met up with friends in Seongsu, had a good meal, so of course it was time for a chat, haha.

Everywhere on the Seongsu main street was so crowded and loud. Looking for a quiet Seongsu café where we could actually talk to each other, we found T Coffee. It's not on the Seongsu main drag, but it's about 5 minutes from Seongsu Station, so it made for a nice little walk away from the chaos.

## How do you get to T Coffee, and what does the building look like?

The building T Coffee is in felt like some artistic piece of architecture straight out of Japan. The exterior alone had this presence the moment we arrived.

My friends and I were like, this looks like a building we saw in Japan~. It's even prettier in person — a building whose design itself is art, so we were already excited before even walking in.

Since the address says B1, I just went straight down the outside stairs without thinking, and ended up at a pizza place — pretty confusing. I went back up, walked into the building itself, and took the elevator down to B1.

The elevator is genuinely gorgeous haha. Once we got off in the basement, the glass-walled café was right there on the right. If you go down the stairs first like I did, don't panic — just walk straight through the pizza place and it connects to the café at the back!

## Inside T Coffee: atmosphere and seating

A tasteful interior made for staying quiet. The moment I stepped inside, I understood why this place is known as a quiet Seongsu café. The building's design is so good on its own that the space doesn't need to be dressed up — it's one of those good-vibe Seongsu cafés that carries itself.

Even though it's underground, they've planted greenery outside, so the light and the view were really pretty.

The layout is pretty unique too. A striking main bar where the coffee is made sits at the center, with tables arranged all around it. The seats along the very back wall are great for sitting alone, so if you're looking for a good Seongsu café to visit by yourself, I'd recommend it.

By the window there are bench-style seats, plus a long diagonal table, so it seems easy to find a good spot no matter your group size or purpose. In fact a lot of people were working on laptops or quietly reading, so it looks great as a Seongsu café for working or a Seongsu café for reading. It was so peaceful and calm that our chatty group was probably the loudest table in the place — a little embarrassing and sorry about that, haha.

## How did the two iced americanos and the iced café latte taste?

We'd eaten way too much at lunch, so we skipped dessert and ordered two cold iced Americanos and one iced café latte. It's not just a pretty space — the coffee itself was great too, and all my friends had a satisfying tea time.

It was a place where you could relax without any waiting or crowds, and that was really nice.
