To give you the conclusion first: it is a pretty good choice if you want lunch somewhere atmospheric on Garosu-gil, or a leisurely meal on a date. It is on the first floor of La Casa Hotel, so finding the hotel building makes your first visit easy~ Hydrangeas were right there to welcome us at the entrance. I quietly love the feeling a little plant like that brings. I could see why it is introduced as a Garosu-gil date spot. I do not like bread where the garlic aroma is too strong, but this one was just right? It was not overpowering. So this is another way to eat watermelon. There was watermelon in the salad, and it looked so beautiful. There were also chewy bits that seemed like bacon or meat here and there, and eating them with the refreshing watermelon made it a special treat. I had never thought of eating watermelon like a salad before—lesson learned. The paprika rosé potato gnocchi was wonderfully nutty to start with. And again, I noticed that although it was rosé, the flavor was not super strong. Rosé dishes from delivery places are often very rich and intense, you know? The kind that makes you keep reaching for water... Casamil’s rosé was a little different. It had rosé’s creamy flavor, but the seasoning was not excessive overall. Yet somehow, so delicious. And one thing I was really curious about: was there really paprika in it? Haha. I could barely taste paprika’s distinctive flavor; it was simply full of delicious rosé flavor. Do not worry about the paprika!!
