I used it on a day when I had heavy makeup on. It seemed to remove more than 90% of my overall makeup in one go, so it felt convenient when I wanted to cut down on multiple cleansing steps.

- I spread the cleansing balm evenly over my dry face.
- I scooped out the product with the included spatula or my hands.
- I gently massaged it, focusing on areas where blackheads and pores concerned me.
- After lightly massaging the heavily made-up areas, I added water to emulsify it.
- I rinsed it off thoroughly with lukewarm water.
