It's not the usual pork belly — it's a menu made using a fermented tomato sauce. There are actual fresh tomatoes inside the restaurant! And there's an aging jar too!!! Chewy inside — that's the potato pancake. Eating pork belly alone felt like it wasn't enough, so we ordered the Witch's crispy-outside-chewy-inside potato pancake too haha. A potato pancake that captures the memory of Gangwon-do potatoes, Arpeggio-style! True to its name, crispy on the outside and chewy inside! With regular potato pancakes I only like the crispy parts, but here the whole thing is crispy so it's so good!! A great side to eat alongside the meat! ## What does tomato-jang pork belly taste like without cheese? Witch's jar-aged tomato-jang pork belly, two servings. (Yes... that's me rationalizing, lol.) Adding cheese can sometimes make the flavor heavy, but without it, the tomato sauce flavor comes through more clearly and cleanly! Staff grilled it for us, so we could just relax and eat! And at the end they did a torch fire-show-like finish, which was fun to watch too! haha The savory, fatty taste that's characteristic of pork belly, plus the umami of the tomato sauce — it's definitely different from the pork belly I usually eat! This kind of unique dish is hard to find elsewhere, and it's memorable from the name to the taste! I'll come back when I'm in Namyangju! Recommend!! ### Sweet-and-tart giant homemade blueberry wine The sweet-and-tart King homemade blueberry wine we ordered alongside! It went down so smoothly with the food! You could taste the sweet, tangy blueberry flavor, and pairing it with the meat left your mouth feeling clean and refreshed! I wasn't sure the rice cracker pairing would work, but it goes so well! You have to try this combo!!! Packed with pollack roe, it's savory and salty with great umami~ and maybe because it's fried in the cauldron, the crispy scorched-rice bits at the bottom are so good ㅠㅠ > "Ahh ㅠㅠㅠ I'm really full~~" we kept saying while eating, and before we knew it, the bottom of the pot was showing?? lol "Huh??
