I’d been craving pork cutlet lately, and I was also thinking about the sake-don (salmon rice bowl) I didn’t get to try last time, so I had them all!! ## Gin Jaryoko Ansan Gojan Branch location and visitor information It’s at 107, 56 Gwangdeokseo-ro, Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea (경기 안산시 단원구 광덕서로 56 107호). It is open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with a break from 14:30 to 16:30 and last orders at 20:30. It is closed every Wednesday, and you can use a nearby public parking lot. Gin Jaryoko is known for its pork cutlet, but it was my first time trying it. I usually always went for the udon or rice bowls. (I’m normally not the type to eat much pork cutlet, but I became someone who eats it a lot during pregnancy, haha.) Once I tried it, I loved the assortment. Pork cutlet, fish cutlet, fried shrimp, and even a croquette!! The pork cutlet was more moist and tender than crispy. The sauce was really the key to the fish cutlet. It had a slightly tangy note that went so well with the mild flavor of the fish. What especially stood out was the texture of the fish itself. Fish often feels like it flakes apart, but here it felt as though the fish had been finely minced and pressed together, so it was bouncy and chewy at the same time. The bar-style tables make solo dining easy, but when it’s crowded, getting in and out can be difficult and inconvenient. Still, the salmon rice bowl and assorted set were so delicious.
