## Lunchtime wait and seats with baby chairs at Ichiba Ramen

I went right at lunchtime after visiting MuseumX Sokcho, and sure enough — true to its reputation as a top ramen spot in Sokcho — every table was full.

There aren't few tables, but there's a bit of a wait at lunchtime! Solo diners mostly sat at the bar seats.

On the table there's pickled radish, shichimi pepper, hair ties, and disposable chopsticks ^^ I was hungry, so I picked at a few pieces of pickled radish while waiting.

Ichiba Ramen's tonkotsu ramen, ₩9,000 — Japanese ramen at this price? A full, satisfying bowl with absolutely no shortcuts despite the low price. The owner of Ichiba Ramen apparently went to Japan in person and trained under five ramen masters there.

Ichiba Ramen's miso ramen, ₩10,000. I love a salty-savory miso ramen, and this was truly the best miso ramen I've ever had 👍🏻 The broth especially was a flavor I just got lost in!

Soft, moist meat and noodles with just the right bite. My personal pick is the miso ramen ❤️ Owner, please open a miso ramen branch in the Seoul metro area.

## Kids' mini rice bowls: chashudon (5,500 won) and butadon (4,500 won)

Ichiba Ramen's chashudon (char siu rice bowl), ₩5,500. The rice bowls are sized as a side to ramen, so the small portion worked great for my child. Since I mentioned it was for a kid, they left out the onion and green onion. Tip: if it's for a child, ask ahead of time!

It's not nearly as spicy as its color suggests, so it pairs well with the ramen and is a spice level kids can handle just fine.
