## What condition were the car windows in?

There was a lot of pollen in the air, with rain falling here and there, so my companion’s car windows had gotten dirty. Pollen and rainwater were mixed together on the windshield, making the view feel murky, and even running the wipers did not clean it up neatly. Up close, pollen was sitting hazily on the glass and water marks from the rain remained, so we removed the oil film while washing the car.

## What were the contents and packaging like?

The product I received to try this time was AutoGrooming Clean View Glass Oil Film Remover. It came with the remover and one towel.

I first washed the car with car shampoo and let the water marks soak. I filled a bucket with water, washed the car, and removed rust from the wheels, so time flew by. Once the shampoo wash was done, I started removing the oil film from the windshield before spraying it with water.

The sky-blue package caught my eye. Glass comes to mind whenever I see sky blue, so I thought it would be easy to find this oil film remover even among all the car-washing supplies.

## What was the order for removing the oil film?

For this job, I sprayed the solution evenly while the glass was still thoroughly wet. As I rubbed with the dedicated towel, the solution that initially beaded up and slid around seemed to start adhering to the glass. After rubbing, I rinsed it clean with high-pressure water.

## How much time and effort did the job take?

My companion, who did the work, washes the car often. They do not usually prefer jobs that require a lot of effort, but said this one felt comfortable because the oil film seemed to come off without having to rub hard with the towel. It took about 10 minutes to do the windshield, side windows, and rear window.

They also said there was no whitening on the rubber trim during this use. My companion said they had less to worry about in that area, which made the job feel even easier.

## What were the windows like after rinsing?

After rinsing, the glass looked much clearer. Rather than forming droplets, the water ran down along the glass, which made the work feel worthwhile. Looking at how much was left after use, I thought there might be enough for another three or four jobs like this, but that is not a number I confirmed through repeated use.

Later, when driving on the highway on a rainy day, I also felt that visibility was well maintained. Still, this experience alone is not enough to confirm the product’s coating performance.

I heard that it is also good for removing water marks from shower booths, so I thought I might try cleaning the bathroom with the remaining product. What I personally used it on for this post was car glass.
