After a day at the National Museum of Korea, the writer stopped in with a child and ordered the mild Hyeonseonine Combo, which arrived as one full spread of tteokbokki, fish cake, sundae (blood sausage), fritters and mini gimbap, and stirring the self-serve fried batter flakes into the tteokbokki sauce was the best part. I think the area went through some kind of redevelopment and the shop moved to its current location haha. Anyway, since I was already in Seoul meeting friends and planned a trip to the National Museum of Korea, I went straight to Hyeonseonine right after !! It's been so long ~~~ I kept wondering if the taste would be the same, how big the place would be, all sorts of things running through my imagination lol (Since it was the weekend, I parked briefly in front of a closed shop before the narrow alley — next time I'll take public transit. When I walked in there was no wait — about two tables were open so I skipped checking Catch Table and went straight in — but by the time we were eating, the place was full, with waiting lines forming both inside and outside!
