I was looking for good food on Nahyeseok-geori in Ingye-dong and ended up here — and honestly, I was so satisfied. It was so good that I want this to be my only meat spot from now on! Since it just opened in July, everything felt super clean and the quality was excellent. All the sides were tasty, but what stuck with me most were the neungi mushroom pesto and angelica root pesto!! I'd never had pesto like this before so I was a little worried, but eating it the way they explained, it paired with the meat so perfectly that I actually wanted to try making it myself! The neungi mushroom pesto especially had a distinctive aroma and depth, and adding just a little to the meat brought out a real burst of umami. The angelica pesto also had a unique scent, and eating it with the meat gave a completely different flavor that I loved. With the grilling service, staff who've gone through professional training grill the meat for you directly, and they kindly explained how to best enjoy each cut of meat — it wasn't just someone grilling on your behalf, but a service where they walked you through everything so you could really appreciate the flavor, which genuinely felt like being taken care of. They grilled each piece one by one, timed it so I could eat it at its best, and even explained how to pair it with the sides — it felt distinctly different from the usual BBQ places I go to!! It wasn't just that the meat itself was delicious — getting to try different combinations with the various sides kept it interesting throughout the whole meal, so I never got tired of it. And the staff were genuinely so kind! They explained everything so thoughtfully and grilled the meat perfectly themselves, so I could relax through the whole meal from start to finish. Service like this really does raise how satisfying the food feels. ## Why Jipbul Taebaek is worth it for Korean BBQ on Nahyeseok-geori in Ingye-dong Jipbul Taebaek Suwon Ingye Branch impressed me on food, service, and atmosphere alike, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a special meat restaurant in Ingye-dong. I've eaten a lot of meat in Ingye-dong, but from now on, if I want meat there, this is where I'm going without question! Personally, I really loved the subtle smoky aroma from the straw-fire grilling, and it was fun eating it alongside so many different side dishes. Above all, the neungi mushroom pesto and angelica pesto are flavors I'm still thinking about, and I'd want to have them again next time I visit.
