## In short

Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi is a charcoal-grilled dakgalbi (grilled chicken) restaurant near the Nami Island ferry pier in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi. Visiting with two children, we ordered 2 servings of the original salt-grilled dakgalbi and 1 serving of the house-marinated version with cheese fondue and spicy buckwheat mak guksu noodles to compare the two flavors side by side, and a meal came with a 6-hour free parking pass. Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi made a generous, easy meal for a family of four on a Gapyeong trip.

I recently went on a trip to Gapyeong with my kids. Whenever we go to Gapyeong, we try to find one dish the kids love, and this time, after some thought, we decided to eat dakgalbi (grilled chicken), something the whole family enjoys.

![Exterior of the dakgalbi restaurant found during a Gapyeong trip](https://img.superchart.com/images/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family-02-y1wwc-966.webp)

There are so many dakgalbi restaurants in Gapyeong that I had to search around before landing on Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi. It's near Nami Island, so it's convenient to stop by before or after sightseeing, and the parking lot is large and easy to use.

## Where is Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi, and how does the 6-hour free parking pass work?

Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi has a large parking lot right in front of the restaurant, plus a separate lot just across the street. If you eat there, you also get a 6-hour free parking pass, which makes it a great stop when visiting Nami Island!

Just a short walk away, the Nami Island pier comes into view, so you could plan to eat either before or after exploring the island. If you're looking for a place to eat near Nami Island, this is a great pick to keep in mind as one of the best Nami Island dakgalbi restaurants.

## Inside Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi, a 2026 Blue Ribbon pick

Walking into Anbanji Dakgalbi, the whole place felt clean, and the tables were spaced well enough for a comfortable family meal. Baby chairs were also on hand.

Small dogs up to 10kg are allowed inside. Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi was also selected for the 2026 Blue Ribbon Survey, so knowing it's a vetted spot made it an easier choice when searching for the best dakgalbi in Gapyeong.

## Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi menu and how to order

On this visit we ordered 2 servings of the original salt-grilled dakgalbi, 1 serving of the house-marinated dakgalbi, spicy buckwheat noodles, and cheese fondue. Your first order has to be 2 or more servings of the same flavor, but additional orders can be 1 serving at a time.

Since we were eating with the kids, we went with 2 servings of salt-grilled, and since we were curious about the marinated version too, we added 1 extra serving.

Side dishes and lettuce wraps that pair well with dakgalbi came out with the meal. The dongchimi (watery radish kimchi) was self-serve, so we could take as much as we wanted from the bar.

Once the dakgalbi went on the charcoal grill, that savory smell started rising up and made us want to dig in right away, haha.

## Salt-grilled vs. marinated dakgalbi: how different do they taste?

We tried the salt-grilled version first at Anbanji Dakgalbi, and since the seasoning wasn't heavy, it had a clean, mild flavor. As it grilled over charcoal, the surface browned nicely and picked up a subtle smoky note, and it was good even eaten plain.

After the salt-grilled version, we moved on to grilling the house-marinated dakgalbi.

![Marinated dakgalbi cooking as the sauce sizzles](https://img.superchart.com/images/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family-16-1hsxu-966.webp)

Since it was already seasoned, the flavor felt distinctly different from the salt-grilled version. As the sauce cooked slightly on the charcoal, it gave off a really appetizing smell.

### Dipping the chicken in cheese fondue

And we couldn't skip the cheese fondue we also ordered.

Dipping the nicely grilled dakgalbi into the cheese added a savory richness that gave it a whole different feel.

The kids seemed to enjoy the fun of dipping into cheese too, and they ate it up well.

### Spicy buckwheat mak guksu noodles on the side

It felt like something was missing if we only ate dakgalbi, so we also ordered spicy buckwheat noodles.

![A bowl of spicy buckwheat noodles](https://img.superchart.com/images/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family-21-mx0yj-966.webp)

Eating the tangy noodles alongside the dakgalbi gave our mouths a nice, refreshing reset.

The noodles, tossed well, went great alongside the dakgalbi, and they were also good eaten on their own in between bites.

## Uncooked takeout to grill at your Gapyeong accommodation

Anbanji Dakgalbi also offers uncooked takeout. For takeout, they increase the portion so you get 3 servings for the price of 2. If you're staying at a pension or other accommodation in Gapyeong, it seems like a good option to order takeout and grill it there yourselves. We ate at the restaurant this time, but when traveling with kids, there are days you just want an easy meal back at your accommodation. Takeout would be great for those days!

## Is Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi worth it with kids on a Gapyeong trip?

![A full dakgalbi table spread shared by a family of four](https://img.superchart.com/images/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family/namisum-anbanji-dakgalbi-gapyeong-family-23-gf7gf-966.webp)

Namiseom Anbanji Dakgalbi was a dakgalbi meal we thoroughly enjoyed with the kids on this Gapyeong trip. Trying the salt-grilled and marinated versions side by side let us compare the flavors, and with the cheese fondue and buckwheat noodles added in, it was a hearty spread for a family of four.

If you're looking for dakgalbi near Nami Island, Anbanji Dakgalbi is worth remembering as one of the best Nami Island dakgalbi restaurants we visited. I hope this helps anyone traveling around Gapyeong with kids and looking for a good dakgalbi restaurant the whole family can enjoy :)
